Coley said Bitcoiners could see an „accelerated“ version of the 2017 bullish run that would eventually bring the price to $100,000.
Catherine Coley, CEO of the U.S. division of Binance, one of the world’s largest crypto currency exchanges, sees Bitcoin’s current bull run as a sign that crypto could reach a price of up to $100,000.
Mike Novogratz attributes the rise in the price of BTC above USD 30,000 to institutional adoption
Speaking to KLTA news agency yesterday, Coley said the recent surge in the price of Bitcoin Bank which rose from $19,000 to more than $34,000 in less than a month, may be due to an increase in the number of institutional investors interested in cryptoactive. He added that the crypto space could be experiencing an „accelerated“ rebound based on what happened before the 2017 boom cycle, when the price of BTC increased more than a year after rewards were halved in July 2016.
„Where we thought maybe $50,000 made sense, this number will definitely be a little higher than that in my opinion,“ Coley said. „I think we’re looking at $75,000 or $100,000 per Bitcoin by the end of 2021.

The CEO of Binance.US is not alone in her bullish predictions for next year. Dan Held, the growth leader of the Kraken crypto currency exchange, has been saying since last year that Bitcoin could be entering a „super cycle“ in 2021, which will eventually bring the price to $1,000,000. In a video posted on his YouTube channel last week, Held predicted that the price of Bitcoin would move much more than a „100-fold increase“ based on the growing adoption of cryptoactive.
The current bull run has also caught the attention of the mainstream media. Bitcoin appeared on the front page of the UK-based international financial newspaper, the Financial Times, on January 4th:
